Suspect a company dodging taxes

What is the name of your state? GA

I believe a company selling services online is not a legal company. The company doesn't provide an address or landline phone number on it's site.

There is no business registered in the few states it claims to be in.

From this I'm assuming this company also doesn't have a tax id and is paying taxes. It has a large number of customers.

I've directly asked for their registered business name, address and phone number but haven't gotten a response.

What steps should I take before reporting this company to the IRS? Also, should I trust the IRS to keep my identity confidential or should I file the report anonymously?

You need to provide more background information as to what is going on to cause you to feel that there is a problem.

A self employed person does not have to have a business entity registered with a state, nor is someone required to provide a physical address and phone number on their website.

Therefore someone who is completely legit could have a website as you described....however, someone who isn't, could as well. Also, depending on what is going on, it might not be an IRS matter. It might be a matter for some other agency.
