| Tax deduction for renting an apartment for employment What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NM
Hi
I live in a town in NM which is 100 miles away from my job. Due to the gas crisis, it was less expensive to pay for an apartment. I drive to different places weekly sometimes daily, depending on the needs of the client. I would like to know if
1) I can claim the cost of the apartment (my employer does not pay this cost, or in any supplement the cost?
2) Can I claim the gas that I use driving back and forth from my home to my apartment weekly?
3) Can I claim the gas I use driving back and forth to the client or different offices?
4) Can I claim any of the expenses of my vehicle, insurance etc.
thanks! What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? |
