tax dedution

What is the name of your state? wiscconsin
during an audit we were found to owe an additional $5000.00 for tax year 2001
plus interest and penalty total $7700. Is there any part of this We can deduct from our federal or state income tax for this year

Federal, no. State, not unless your state allows you to deduct federal taxes paid. Then you'd deduct the $7700 as you paid it.
