Is this tax evasion? What is the name of your state? GA If a party in a family court case puts in Responses to plaintiffs 1st interrocatores that they gross over $30,000.00/year, and attaches a tax return that says they only claimed a little over $9000.00 for the year -- is this tax evasion? If so, how do you report tax evasion? |

| You need a lot more information to turn someone in for "tax evasion". And I'd guess that you need more information to determine whether or not the returns they gave the court were actual copies or fabricated ones. Telling the court that they made $30,000 and producing returns showing much less really doesn't prove anything, except perhaps that the party in question wants the court to believe that they don't have much income. I would look into this a LOT further before you make assumptions about tax evasion. Snipes |
