Tax filing during OPT

What is the name of your state?

I started working from may 2004 under OPT authorisation.

My employer deducts Social security federal and state tax,
When am I supposed to file tax.

First thing you should do is tell us what OPT is......... If you're a non-citizen, also tell us what country you're from & your visa satus.

My coutry of citizenship is India and my visa is F1.

Read the India tax treaty. The provisions for trainees & students is very generous.

If you have to file a tax return, it is due by 4/15.
