Question

Tax on Inheritance?

What is the name of your state? Texas
I am about to receive about $90,000 from my mother's estate. Do I have to pay any kind of tax on that, income or otherwise?

No, unless it would have been taxable to her, such as a 401K or other retirement distribution, or the proceeds from sale of property.
