I have a federal tax lien. My homeowners insurance claim was denied for Hurricane Ike.
I have hired an atty and the settlement is due to pay for our damages anyday now. Is this exempt from the IRS so that I may repair my home's damages or can the IRS seize?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
