Tax Payments on Egg Donation

What is the name of your state? NY

I received a 1099 for compensation I received as an egg donor. In my contract, it specifically states that the compensation was for time, effort, and risk involved with the procedure - as I was not getting paid for the actual eggs themselves.
Is there any way that I can minimize the impact of this 1099 income on my taxes?

My response:

No. The money you received was "income" based upon your time, services and risk. Body parts cannot be sold, so you weren't "paid" for your eggs.
