What is the name of your state? IL

Is there a law prohibiting a subpoena to IRS of the actual Federal Income Tax Return filed by an individual?

You mean can they subpoena your tax return? I am not sure of that, but a judge can order you to either fork it over or go to jail.

thank you Snipes for responding.

It is my ex's tax return. He produced a tax return, but there is indication that it may not be the same as that actually generated to IRS; but one that was computed to show less income to the court.
