taxes due

I never filled a tax return because I am illegal in the state even though I live in the state for 20 years. On my husband tax return I always give my social security # from my country. The irs send us a letter that we owe 3300.00 because my # was not american I needed to give my us # so he could claim me as a dependant I did that now they say we owe them 2600.00 . When we did the report in January they owe us 742.00. of course i don't have the money to pay . What do we do?? Please help.
