I was ordered to pay property taxes (3yrs worth) for a house I was renting from a Trust. Is this legal?
It's a family trust, my father is the executor. He lead me to believe I would be able to sell the house (after renovations) and he would release it from the trust. The house was awarded to my mother in a divorce settlement. He sued me (spite) for back rent & taxes and won. I'll pay the back rent but Taxes??? Is this alone grounds for an appeal?
