W2 Being Withheld

What is the name of your state? New York

Hi there everybody. Your opinions on this are most welcome. I believe that an employee is witholding my W2 from me because we parted on bad terms. I undertand beople 200 miles away have recieved theirs already and I have not recieved mine. I wrote them an e-mail on January 31, and once I found out other people recieved theres I wrote them another one today. Both of them restated my current address. I told them If it wasnt received by Februray 9th I would take furtheraction. Any suggestions?

No suggestions, but you can't take further action until after Feb 15, at which point you can notify the IRS of your attempts to obtain the W-2, and you can file using your final pay stub to fill out form 8582, to do a substitute W2.
