what legal actions can i do?

I just want to know what kind of legal action i could do with the accountant who doesn't want to give my tax refund to me. it has been 3 months since i filed my tax and because its been taking a long time i tried ringing up the taxation and they said that my tax has been sent to the accountant 2 weeks ago and after that i rang up the accountant and he keeps giving me false information's and telling me that he hasn't got it what can i do about this matter?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Writing in coherent sentences with proper nouns referring to specific entities might be a good start.
