Where to put rent deduction?

What is the name of your state? CA

I have a consulting business which I operate through my rented apartment. Where is the most appropriate place to deduct that portion of my rent dedicated to the business? Schedule C or Form 8829?

The appropriate place is Form 8829, which is a supplement to Schedule C.
