What is the name of your state?
Missouri
I have recently moved from Missouri to Oklahoma with permission from my ex to take the kids, ages 10 and 7. They have visitation with their dad monthly and every break. Me and my ex had a mutual agreement that his dad and step mom would not be alone with the kids. His dad was charged in 2006 for invasion of privacy for having a security camera in his step daughters bedroom and having child porn on his computer. He did a plea deal and the child porn charges got dropped. I tried talking to the step daughter and last year she finally talked to me. They had a abuse and neglect case against them and last year they requested a hearing asking for it to be looked into. It was upheld and they are in the Missouri database for child abuse and neglect. They told my ex that they didn’t request a hearing and that Missouri did an audit and that the security camera was overparenting. My ex has also told my kids to lie to me about being with their grandfather and that if they told me then I wouldn’t let them see him(the Dad). He now says that the girls will be with the grandfather unless I get a motion. My question is, do I have to do the whole file a motIon or can the department of family services help?
