Hello, I’m a former IG model with a huge problem. I use to talk to all my fans, told them to DM me and talk to me. I built deep bonds with some of my followers and talked to some of them on the phone regularly to vent to them. Someone last year who I was the closest with figured out my real name and the state that I live in. They said I slipped up many times. I felt like he lied to me about not knowing and so I kicked him out my life and continued to open up to new people, vent to them, and build bonds. Because I cut him off so coldly, it was hard to get rid of him. I started to feel like he might become a stalker situation, so I informed my lawyer to protect myself. I give my lawyer a picture of him and his phone number. I blocked him for 2 weeks at the time, then unblocked his number to vent to him more. Then blocked him again at the end of the month because he kept bugging me to add him back on IG and I said no, I didn’t trust him. Looking back on it I was in the wrong. I freaked out on him telling me the truth, so I now realize I was the problem in that situation. I did bug him many times before the fall out to answer the phone when I called. We talked everyday and he knew everything going on in my life. I talked to him and about 20 others, but he was the only one who knew my real name with out me telling him, and that is the point. One other person knew, but I told them. Others have told me they know my user name is not really my name, they said they will try to find out and I told them not to other wise I will have to take legal action.

About five months ago he text me, and I responded to him chatting a little bit. He wanted to make up so I did not respond to his last three messages and ghosted him. Now I see all my pictures and videos from IG on porn sites, photo sharing sites, and even a folder for other people to download the content. My photos and videos have been re-edited to say that you are allowed to download and share it. Saying it’s free content. Worst of all, my REAL name has been edited into all of them. Pictures and videos. Now I’m concerned for my safety, my followers will possibly learn my real name as well as people I have never even talked to. I have received rape threats and death threats on my page before, which makes me extra concerned. Due to this situation, anytime that you Google my name all of the content shows up which I don’t want because this will affect my future. I’m only 22 years old, but my family lawyer has been made aware of the situation. I think I know who it is, it’s obviously the guy that I was originally talking about. When I texted him accusing him of posting my stuff online and putting my real name in there, he denied doing so and told me I should have deleted the page after he found out because he probably wasn’t the only one who found out. We’re not in the same state currently, but I intend to pursue legal action. I would like to know all the possibilities that can be done, how can I prove that he is the original uploader. Pictures of my family have also been uploaded as well. So I’m concerned for their safety too at this point. Somehow he figured out the College that I go to and sent them the videos too. This is very VERY CREEPY!

I think he embedded in the videos that you are allowed to download and re-upload them so this way it will be harder to tell who is the original uploader. If people re-upload the stuff to porn sites, it will just spread. I have flagged the content, but it has been up there for three days. My fear is that if it does come down, more people will just re-upload it. He can even re-upload it under another name, and there will be no way of proving that he is the original. I have my whole life ahead of me and I don’t want this following me around for the rest of my life. It will affect future people that I date, and affect my career as well. I feel like my life is over. So I’m seeking legal advice and a way for this stuff to be removed from the internet permanently.

P.S. I know it was him because me and him had our falling out about this time a year ago, so he has returned for the anniversary of the fallout to get revenge or something. Also, as an example the pictures and videos say “Porn Star E Hs”. That’s not my name, it’s just an example. I’m not even a porn star..

What is the name of your state?

Because you already have an attorney, you should rely on his advice and direction. Your attorney, or one he recommends, can outline for you the steps that can be helpful to take in identifying your “stalker” and getting the undesirable material removed from locations online.

Please know that removing material is not easy, especially when it has been allowed to spread unchecked for any length of time. One of the best ways to protect yourself from online harassers is to stay offline, and stop communicating with random strangers.

Report all threats to the police.

Good luck.

You can send a DCMA takedown notice when you find sites hosting your content without your permission.

Like what evidence? Please let me know and maybe I can look into obtaining it.
You are assuming that this guy did it. If he found out, how many others followed you? Figure 10% of them could have figured it out or found out. Keep posting on here and I could probably track you down. I have done it before. I have aided law enforcement, prosecutors and what not with posts on here when people thought they were anonymous. Some of those people are now serving serious criminal time. Keep going.

But how can I prove who uploaded the content? I would like to sue.
Honestly, you can't. It's all too easy these days for cyber-stalkers to cover their tracks using anonymizing VPN's - they can look like they're connecting from anywhere in the world.

You and/or your attorney and/or your private detective should be keeping track of where the false information and/or doctored photos have been appearing online. Keep copies of correspondence.

You will need to show a court that illegal acts were committed against you (e.g., invasion of privacy, defamation, infringement) to support the issuance of a subpoena(s) on web host(s), ordering disclosure of account holder personal identifying information. Your goal is to unmask the identity of the account holder(s) responsible for taking your rights-protected material and publishing damaging information about you.

Until you learn who is behind the publications, you cannot sue anyone and your recourse is limited. One thing you can and should do whenever it happens, however, is to report all death threats or rape threats to the police.
