Are my co-workers and I allowed to unionize?I work in the state of Nebraska. The company I work for is a public utility wholly owned by the City of Lincoln and overseen by a board of directors appointed by the mayor. The vast majority of my department are salaried technology/professional workers. My question is; Since we are overtime exempt and are not directly employed by the city, what does this mean for our right to unionize? Can we join or form a union? ![]() Thanks for any feedback, Kraznodar |

| You probably can form a union, however, you need to do it in a very specific way. To find out how to do this, contact the NLRB, or a union of your choice. (And if the latter - they'll do all the work for you!) |
