Stumbling Block

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oregon
As a union member I am aware of our rights under state and federal law. However, if our rights have been violated by our own executive committee, with whom do we share these violations?
After speaking with both the NLRB and the LMRDB, it is still a fog, since both Boards are so narrow in scope and do not involve themselves with internal union issues. Both were interested in our case, but neither claimed to be able to take it any further or assist in investigating the charges.
We were referred to an attorney, but, we are really not out to sue anyone and really can't afford one just to stave off the harassment.

If anyone has a direction or piece of advice, please share.
