Cool

Union ratification violation

What is the name of your state? Maryland I am a member of The United Union of Security Guards which has contracts on several Federal Government facilities in Maryland and the District of Columbia. The U.S. Department of Labor recognizes the union as having 9b status. We are currently at the conclusion of our contract with Paragon Systems Inc. They provide security services for the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn, Maryland. The membership made a written request to have ratification as stated in our constitution and bi-laws prior to signing the new collectivie bargaining agreement which ends January 31, 2007. We obtained knowledge that a contract was signed on December 22, 2006 which was extremely detrimental in scope and content for the members. We need to know legally how to address this violation.
