What is the name of your state? Washington

Is it true that if a US citizen judged guilty in a civil lawsuit generally receives a 1-2 year jail sentence?

Can somebody give me a link/website to find more about this topic. thanks.

No US citizen has ever gone to jail by being found guilty in a civil court procedure. In fact, being found guilty is not an option in any of the civil court proceedings I have attended. The purpose of civil court is dispute resolution, not to determine if an individual is guilty of a crime. That is what criminal court is for. Perhaps if you gave a little more information someone can give the answer that you seek.
