What is the name of your state? Michigan

The Macedonian community of Michigan and America would like to know if a state voting on a resolution, bill or document that recognizes ancient Macedonia as Hellenic is a violation of the rights for Macedonians in America to identify themselves with a name, history and people? Macedonian-Americans would also like to know that if these resolutions are found to be discriminatory in anyway, how or should they take legal action? Here is a document from the Michigan resolution and one from Rhode Island:

Thank you!
