sold a truck and the man tested is and wanted it , then he paid me drove off and blew up the motor and called me to give him his money back , then called the law i refused to give the money back it was sold as is . he said he would sue me can he do that. bankston please help

Yes he can sue you. But he may not win.

Concur with Quincy, and so we are very clear, you stated "as is." With that,
the person you sold it to will not have any legs to stand on, however, if
the person disputes the "as is" then, you may have a problem in being sued!

he said we did something to the truck , but i promise we did nothing at all to the truck . he brought his mechanic with him and he look over the truck we also told him to put a quart of oil in the motor told him it was a little low and the man still brought the truck so what do you think the judge will say. mississippi:
