Minor's Rights

I live in New Jersey and I am seventeen years old. I'm really just curious about what kind of rights we have as minor's against our parents?

You have the right to do what they say. If you feel like your life is in danger because they are acting inappropriately, you have the right to tell a teacher, the police or any other adult who is in a position to offer assistance.

Agreed.

Unless you are being abused, as a minor, you have exactly the rights that your parents give you.

Parents cannot make the illegal legal, but they can make the legal illegal.

For instance, they cannot make you cook meth (because it is an illegal activity), but they can tell you that you cannot associate with someone they don't want you to associate with.. .regardless of their reason for doing so.

Now, why don't you tell us the rights you wish to have.
