please i need advice

utah.this is a long story but i am going to try and make it short. ok, i was storing my guns in my moms closet since december o6.without permission from me my brother who lives there decided to take it out of her closet and show/posibly loan his friend which i might add is a felon my gun/guns. i have not talked to my mom or my brother for almost a year now nutil my brother calls me up out of the blue a couple of weeks ago and told me i needed to report my 9mm as stolden. i told him hell no asfter hearing why i needed to because i was not going to lie about something that did not happen.he didnt really tell me why but somehow his friend whom i have never known or met was caught with my gun after he commited a home invasion with it. i told him he needed to call and deal with it it was his problem. well i called him a couple of days after that to see if he had called police yet. he told my some bs and said to not report it.so i thought really hard about this and knew that it was in my best interest that i report it right away but first i needed to go get my other gun asap then report it.well i didnt quit do the right thing by reporting it like i needed to because i was worried about what might happen to my brother instead of myself. i did not give him permission to take it or to give it anyone and i had nothing to do with any of it.i reported it as missing. it wasnt til talking to the detective a time or two that i knew i messed up and that i needed to tell the whole truth which i did even though it killed my heart i had to go against my brother.im not sure what i should be expecting to happen to me after i had told the whole truth especially when my brother is trying to make up stupid stuff. i told the detective the whole truth and i have nothing to hide. but the detective calls my everytime my bother talks to him asking me what i know about this or did i say this or that.im done aswering dumb stuff cause i aslready told all i know.do i need to get a attorney to make sure i am not going to getWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
