SubpoenaWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California Does the US supreme court (supremecourtus.gov) subpoena people? If they don't, which is the highest court that can do so in the country? How would that court go about sending that subpoena out? (Even though my location is California, I was wondering what the highest court that issues subpoena's is in the entire US.) Awaiting your response, Hans Schmidt |

| Gloomer, Congress is the highest level that can issue a Subpoena technically because they do in fact have Subpoena Power, and yes The Federal Supreme Court can issue Subpoenas. Example, the FBI has Subpoenaed my Father-In-Law from Florida to Hawaii. (All expense paid of course.) Last edited by Braxxis; 09-30-2008 at 04:54 PM. |
