Bounced payroll check

What is the name of your state? Oregon. I worked at a franchise restaurant, the owner became sick for a couple months and got into financial problems. One of my paychecks that I received bounced and came back to my bank, which now I am being charged a fee. It has been 2 weeks that I have been trying to collect the money for this check with no results. Is there anything I can do legally to collect this money.
