I was denied unemployment benefits because I quit my previous job to go to a new job. The job I left for offered more money, more time at home with my family, while providing me the ability to bring current clients along with me with the same vendor sources. I went from being a salaried employee to a 1099 employee with the new company. When the dust cleared all of the promises were empty at the new job. As a 1099 commission based contractor without sales at the new company I had no income. So now I am out of work and trying to draw off of the job I quit. Do I have a case in appeals with the EDD?
