| embarrassed to call attorney What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
I've just been advised by an attorney friend on an employment issue relating to a company refusing to pay me for 3 weeks worth of work. My attorney friend said to use the phrase "Bargain for Employment" or "Bargain for Agreement" or some other phrase beginning with "Bargain for..." and after we talked about it extensively, I hung up and immediately forgot what the phrase was. It had to do with a pattern of payment (I had been paid for 16 weeks prior at the same rate, but now they want to change the rate). I'm too embarrassed to call back the attorney. Can anyone else tell me what this legal phrase is?
Thanks. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? |
