Employer will not pay back wages. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Colorado. My employer will not pay me my back wages owed. The amount is $10,000. The CO Dept of Labor was unable to help and suggested a lawsuit. Small claim max is $7500 and I want the full amount of money that is owed me plus compensation. (It has been less then a year since he walked off the jobsite) I believe that they have willfully refused to pay and will file for bankruptcy when I file suit. How would I file for more then $15,000? |
