What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois

In Illinois, is there a law that states that employers are required to pay independent contractors within 30 days of completing the work? Or is that typically based on an individual contract between the employer and employee? If there is a law, can you cite it for me?

Thanks!

**A: payment dates, periods or frequency is dependent upon the contractural agreement.

There may be a law that says you are not an independent contractor.

Could you please explain why you think you are an independent contractor? Are you a business?

There also may be a very good reason. Because he meets the criteria.

Why do you continue on bringing things up that are not issues the OP appears to be concerned with?
