What can I do if my employer keeps holding payroll back 1-3 days? There is no prior communication about the fact, it just comes in late. In addition, for the people with live checks, the checks are never sent before the actual payday.
Thanks.

Illinois - Employers must pay at least semimonthly & not more than 13 days following the close of the pay period. Weekly wages must be paid no later than 7 days after the pay period closes.

If you are not getting paid on time, you can file a complaint/claim with the Il. DOL.
