No more sick time

Our company sent a memo one morning and stated "effectived immediately, the company is no longer offering sick pay." In addition to this, the old vacation calcuation changed to all employee 5 days/year. We used to be 2weeks the first year, 3 weeks after completion of 5 years of service and 4 weeks after 10 years.Overnight, we lost all the benefits. Can we do anything? We are in California.
