I and my former company are in Texas.
When I first started work for this SW company, I was on the US payroll.
On Jan 1 of the following year I was moved to the European payroll.
The US accounting office continued to pay me on the American payroll without my knowledge.
When they realized their mistake I was asked to investigate it, then I was laid off 5 days later.
Do I have to pay that money back?

Payback revisited

This happened over 4 years ago. What are the statute of limitations governing this in the state of Texas governing this?

To my knowledge, none. Do you mean to tell me that in four years you never noticed an additional deposit in your account that you were not entitled to?

Payback revisited again

What I'm saying is in that 4 year time span, I was never called, contacted or asked to return anything.
So if they were to file a grievance, under what law would it pertain?
