What is the name of your state? ny
We are currently working fr a US contracor in the Middle East. We feel the this company is not giving us the full Per Diem amount that is given to them by the government to be given to us. Our question is how do we go about finding out this amount and if they are shorting us how do we go about collecting this money that is owed to us? Any information would be appreciated.

What makes you believe you are not being given what you are supposed to be given?

Do you have a contract that states what you are to recieve?

If so, it is irrelevant what your employer is being paid as long as you recieve what you are contracted to be paid. What the your contractor is being paid for a per diem from the government for an employee may very well include expenses that they also incur on your behalf and are included by the government in their payments.

Now if you believe that you are to recieve the entire amount your employer recieves in employee per diem payments, let us know what is your reason for this.

Our Contract states that the company will pay for housing and transportation but they are taking this out of our checks. We belive that the government is reimbursing them for the housing and the transportation but they are double dipping and taking this money from our checks also.
