In 2001, I went on maternity leave. I worked for the school board at the time. They entered my leave late into their payroll system, and subsequently overpaid me. In 2003, they demanded repayment. I have asked for verification of this overpayment, but they have not supplied all of the information I requested. They have now sent me to collection, almost 5 years later. I am just wondering if there is a statute of limitations on such a claim. Thank you very much for your help.
