I have heard of companies deducting time in 15 min. increments if employees are late. IE, if an employee is suppose to start at 7:00AM and gets there at 7:09AM they would get paid starting at 7:15AM, if they got there at 7:18AM they would get paid starting at 7:30AM. Is that legal for an employer to do that, and what rules do they have to follow when doing it?
