Good news! I won using my line of reasoning and definition of "payment of wages" with the EDD. Just received notice that my Unemployment Insurance payments are being issued today to arrive in 5 to 10 business days. I would say $2800 makes it all worth the back and forth with Patty! Thanks Patty for being a good sparring partner and forcing me to build a good case. I'll buy the coffee.
