vacation or PTO payments

I was recently discharged from a non-profit employer in Minnesota after 8 years. Company refuse to pay me for my vacation time (PTO)Is there any way to retrive these funds ? Thank You,Jack.

In MN, company policy determines when/if vacation or PTO is payable at termination. It is not due unconditionally. Did the company have a policy that specifically stated that unused vacation or PTO would be paid out at term?

When I was hired the policy was to pay for PTO but was changed a few years ago. Looks like I am SOL. Thanks for the help. Jack.
