What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? OH

I work for an in home party plan. I receive a percentage of what my team sells every month. The Company requires that I also have to maintain minimum monthly sales, but I can have one free month a year with no sales in the month.

I chose June as my "free" month. They did not pay me in July for the sales my team did. When I inquired about it. I was told that the owner was not happy with my sales for the year so far. If I do $5000 in sales this month he will give me the pay in August for June and July Commission.

Can they just change the minimum required to receive bonus checks like that?
