Adopted Daughter vs Blood Daughter

My father passed away 10/28/01 in Kansas. We were estranged for 20 years. For the past 7 years we were basically Penpals. I just found out yesterday that he had passed away. He has one adopted daughter who's 45, I am 32. He was creamated. He was married to his 2nd wife. The adopted daughter's mother had passed 15 years ago. He had one surviving sister. The adopted daughter doesn't know about me. I live in Texas

First: How do I obtain a copy of the will. I don't want any money, I just need closure.

Second: Do I have any legal claims to the estate? i.e. his remains, personal property (pictures, belongings, etc.)?

Third: Do I need an attorney?
