What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Jersey

When filing an answer to a civil complaint in an estate matter, is it necessary to serve the copies of the answer marked "filed" upon the complainant, or are copies of the answer not so marked adequate? My checks of the N.J. judiciary websites did not provide guidance to this question.
