| Often a simple revocable living trust is termed a 'substitute for a will', so do the probate codes apply when it becomes irrevocable upon death of grantor? If a question arises in the administration of the trust, does the court use probate code and similar statutes to adjudicate the claims? Thank you for your help. |

| Probate codes don't apply to trusts. Most states have separate trust laws that apply. ------------------ This is not legal advice and you are not my client. Double check everything with your own attorney and your state's laws. |
