What is the name of your state? Il
Hello
My father is currently incapacitated with Alz,s. He has no will and we have been granted temp gaudianship of his affairs. As much as we hate to discuss it we are concearned about the probate process when he leaves us. Of course, now he is not of sound mind to initiate a living trust or will legaly.

Is there a way to avoid going through probate?
