What is the name of your state? massachusetts

My question is about bank accounts setup for the adult children as beneficaries on the trustee's account (shows name on that account as beni). Does this money become readily available after the trustee is deceased to use for expenses etc? I am sure a death certificate might have to be a form of id to show that the account goes to that beneficary. I would appreciate any answers to this question if you know or have been in the same situation.
