I live in California and have a revocable trust. My dividend checks come to carolyn tarter, trustee U/A dtd 8/23/93. My bank recently said I could not deposit these checks into my regular checking account, they must go into a trust account - so must change my checking account to Carolyn Trust Account. I have heard a different opinion from an estate lawyer (from another state). what is your opinion?
