I live in a house that was owned by my mother. She just passed away and the will divides her assets equally among her children. The will has not been executed yet.

My belligerent brother, who lives elsewhere, says he can enter and go anytime he wants. Is this true? Do I have to let him yet now, before the will has been executed?

PS - This is New York City.

The will has been executed. It just hasn't been probated yet.

Have you moved out? After all, fair is fair.
