Arkansas - Nothing in the estate to probate. lots of Unsecured debt (credit cards, etc) Can creditors (AKA estate recovery) force probate to get an accounting of estate value?

Back to the top.... Cant believe that there arnt any lawyers out there who can answer this. Seems simple enough:
Full "estate" went to spouse. total estate valued at less than 7k (not including residence) unsecured debt totals 35K. I am fairly certain that creditors can't put a lean agains a jointly owned residence but would like a legal opinion on the matter.
