My mother passed away last week. I know there's a will, it's not in her bank box. Could I obtain this legally through the county court house? She lived in Florida.
While she may have filed it there for safekeeping, few people actually do. It's more likely in the office of the lawyer who drew it up for her. Ask her friends, and check thru her checkbook and see if any payments were made to a lawyer.
