Question

chid care


ill..my question is the state is trying to take my money from my parent's will to pay my child care that i owe from my ex- can they do that..? the money was left to me and my brother..not her.

your state is IL?

you owe from your ex? or to your ex?


the state wants the arrears. why haven't you been paying your arrears? why are you not supporting your child? absolutely the state can put a lein on inheritance to pay your court ordered arrears. they can also suspend driver's license, garnish wages, suspend business licenses, have a warrent for your arrest, AND put you in jail.
