OHIO :I have won a small claims award against a man ($3,000). He is listed as trustee on a trust for both a piece of real estate in Cleveland and on a motor vehicle title.
Where and how do I find out what type of trust it is, who established it and how to place a levy and/or lien against him? Thank you.

This question should properly be posted on the DEBT COLLECTIONS message board or SMALL CLAIMS message board.

The fact that he is a trustee of a trust is good news for you, but trust information is a private matter and there are no public records to you to get information about that. What it does mean is that he should be in good enough financial shape to be able to afford to pay this judgement.

You need to be talking to a debt collections attorney or business law attorney about the specific procedures you need to take to collect your money. If he is employed, you can garnishee his paycheck or there is also way to attach his bank account (an order to the local sheriff/law enforcement that allows you to go to his bank and directly withdraw the money if there is enough in his account for the withdrawal). Perhaps you should also consider paying a private investigator about $100-$200 to have financial background check done on the man to find out what assets he has and where he does his banking.
